Self Paced Challenge Options
These short self paced challenges are a fun way to earn points and see what other interns are up to. Make sure to upload the photos and videos to your team’s Slack channel for your points to be recorded and be sure to encourage your teammates to do the same!
Challenge #1
Global Community Day Reimagined: Acts of Kindness
This year Citi celebrates the 15th annual Global Community Day, and although you will not be able to participate in the traditional in-person volunteer activities, there is still a lot that you can do to have a meaningful impact in your community.
To show your commitment in this Citi wide effort, we are strongly encouraging all Summers to participate in Acts of Kindness in your community or for someone else. Some of you may already be doing this and for some, this may be your first time. We invite you to participate by saying thank you to an essential worker, donating to a food pantry, leaving positive notes and affirmations to veterans, becoming a mentor and using your unique skills or talents to help someone else or any other Act of Kindness of your choice. Please upload a picture or video of you completing this Act of Kindness to you team Slack channel. Make sure to include a brief description when posting.
(Teams have until the end of July to complete this challenge. Points will be added to the week that the challenge is completed)
All submissions will be viewed by your Managers and by the Citi Volunteers team so they can see all the creative ways you give back to your communities.

Challenge #2
Organize a Zoom call with your teammates and collaborate on a Poem, Rhyme or Song celebrating philanthropy and volunteerism. Be creative.
Upload a video recording of one or more people reading or singing this creation on your team Zoom call AND a picture of everyone on the call to your team Slack channel.
